Do I need any additional qualifications/ skills?
How will I be assessed?
There are no formal examinations but the course is academic and all work is assessed through regular assignments building up a comprehensive portfolio as appropriate for a Level 3 course.
What can I do afterwards?
The course is equivalent to two A Levels and up to 240 UCAS points can be obtained. Thus, progression to University to a range of courses or entry into any of the Uniformed Public Services, (subject also to each services entrance criteria).
Are there any additional costs involved?
There will be opportunities to participate in events outside the college such as Army or Navy 'Look at Life courses, visits to pertinent establishments such as the Imperial War Museum and the Crown Court and a trip abroad that ties in with various units. Some of these trips will have a charge payable by the students to cover the costs involved.
