Course programme

Course review:

Speaking and presenting is a fact of life for most junior doctors today, but few receive any training in public speaking or presentation skills. We are a group of doctors that organise one-day courses in public speaking and presenting tailored specifically for doctors. Our practical one day workshops are centered around boosting confidence and giving candidates the tools to make an impact when they present. The course is run by Dr. Simon Raybauld (PhD) who has been teaching and training in public speaking for over two decades and currently provides the course to MacMillan Cancer Support, Dell, and six UK universities. Topics that we cover over the day include: - Planning your pitch - Overcoming nerves - Creatining presence - Working the room - Body language - Handling awkward questions - Three levels of communication
