About this course

Delegates should have some working knowledge of Windows or should have completed the Introduction to Windows course. Previous experience of using Microsoft Word would be an advantage, and delegates should feel at ease performing tasks such as arranging, sizing and switching between windows. Previous use of a mouse and keyboard is assumed on this course.

Course Overview

In this course, delegates will look at how to create a publication from scratch or use one of the hundreds of business and personal designs available in Publisher. This course will enable the delegate to create, design, and edit publications.
Prerequisites
  • Delegates should have some working knowledge of Windows or should have completed the Introduction to Windows course.
  • Previous experience of using Microsoft Word would be an advantage, and delegates should feel at ease performing tasks such as arranging, sizing and switching between windows.

Objectives


    Delegates will be able to :
  • Create a banner that includes borders and clip art of the users choice
  • Create a set of matching stationary, this is to include letter headed paper, business cards an envelopes
  • Use Microsoft Office On-line to find additional clip-art and graphics for your publications
  • Create newsletters where pages flow seamlessly from one page to another like that of a leading glossy magazine.
