Description
The purpose of the qualification is to provide anyone interested in the health and well-being of school-aged children with the knowledge that will enable them to provide evidence-based and up-to-date healthy eating information within this vulnerable age group. This qualification is designed for teachers and teaching assistants/learning mentors, as well as catering staff and schools nurses, in schools. The qualification will enable adults working with school-aged children to improve their knowledge and awareness of healthy eating messages, in-line with current government recommendations.
