Modular structure The course will enable you to develop key skills in studying English language and literature and give you the opportunity to pursue your own developing interests in specialist units led by research-active experts. For those interested in teaching English language, your second and third-year units will give you the practical skills and theoretical knowledge required in the classroom, alongside deepening your knowledge and understanding of literature, while options such as creative writing and poetry and poetics will further support your appreciation of the creative potential of language.
