The principal aim of this course is to equip delegates with the knowledge and skills required to perform audits of modern Quality Management Systems (QMS), in accordance with the new Auditing Guidelines of ISO 19,011. The programme consists of a series of lectures, role-play, case-study, and syndicate work. Suitable for: People intending to work as External Auditors (auditing suppliers, etc.), or those who wish to become third party Certification Auditors; as well as managers of companies being audited. It is also useful for staff involved in the design, implementation, and continual improvement of a QMS - whether as employees or external consultants.

About this course

A good knowledge of the requirements and practical application of the ISO 9001:2015 Standard is required when attending this advanced auditing course. This can be gained by attending the SQMC course: 'ISO 9001 Foundation'.

He is an IRCA-listed SQMC Senior Tutor, teaching on Lead Auditor and Internal Auditor courses, and is a third party Auditor for a UKAS-approved Certification Body. His work as an External Auditor has also included such diverse organisations as the Health Service and computer software designers.
