Queen's University Management School, in one form or another, has been in existence for over thirty years, and was one of the first schools in the United Kingdom to introduce undergraduate management education. Since then we have been expanding and developing our cohort and range of programmes at undergraduate level and masters level for local and international students. Queen's University Management School is one of the largest in the University with over 1,000 undergraduate students, and it continues to grow its postgraduate student numbers.Queen's University Management School joins the premier league of research based management schools in the UK as it is placed 19th* out of 90 Management Schools in the December 2008 national announcement of the outcome of the Research Assessment Exercise. Since the last RAE in 2001 the School has significantly raised its international profile and standing, with 95% of its research being deemed as of an international standard, and 55% of its research rated as world-leading and internationally excellent. The announcement firmly cements Queen's University Management School within the top 20 research based management schools in the UK, recognising it for its international and world class research.
