The announcer, in radio and television language, is a person who has the task of announcing the start or end of a broadcast and part of the schedule, to read a radio news (radio news) or television (news) and other programs, especially to informative or informative character. In the Anglo-Saxon media the term speaker (the one who speaks) is preferred to that of announcer (announcer). Although the term speaker has a wider range of meanings, as it includes readers, spokespersons or even institutional figures (such as the presidents of the houses of the British Parliament), in common usage the two terms are to be considered synonymous. In Italy, from 1975 onwards, alongside the speakers of the public service, there are those of the newborn private radios; the new announcers are less formal, they not only read texts but also become entertainers and in some cases even journalists. By definition, every speaker of private radio is also an author of himself.
