You will gain knowledge of a systematic way to review Chest x-ray images. You will learn about normal variants and abnormal radiographic appearances of the chest. This is an ideal opportunity for CPD.
About this course
On completion of this course you should be able to:
Correlate clinical manifestations to radiographic appearances and pathophysiological processes.
Formulate a clinical diagnostic opinion from the analysis of and the interpretation of radiological findings.
This module can be studied as part of an Advanced Practice pathway or as a module on its own for CPD.
To undertake this course you must have evidence of study at BSc (Hons) level and professional registration. This module has a built in assessment day and is composed of online teaching, self-directed study and some campus based activity. The aim of this course is to introduce the participant to a systemic approach used in the analysis of radiographic images of the chest in line with their own professional requirements.
Hold an undergraduate degree
Professional registration with HCPC/NMC or equivalent
