The radiologist is a doctor specialized in the use and interpretation of diagnostic imaging tools, who works alongside other medical specialists to identify and treat a specific health problem. The radiologist is a physician who works to assist other specialists in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases and disorders by providing and interpreting images of the organs and tissues inside the body. There are three different types of radiology: diagnostic radiology, interventional radiology, and oncological radiology.
