About this course
The Department's minimum entrance requirements are graduation in medicine for the clinical research areas, and in the appropriate scientific disciplines for the other research studies, with an average of 3.0 (or equivalent) in the last two years of undergraduate (or graduate) work at the University of Alberta. Applicants with an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution will be considered for graduate studies. Where applicable (see University Calendar English Language Requirement), applicants must obtain a minimum score of 550 (paper-based) or 88 (Internet-based) on the TOEFL test

Course programme
Research may be carried out in medical imaging, radiological and health physics, or radiation biology and biophysics.
The Department of Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging participates with other departments of the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry in offering these interdisciplinary programs in medical sciences.
