The reporter is the one who reports and is in charge of reporting. The signalman puts in place internationally codified and standardized procedures for visual communication between pilots and ground staff. Railway signaling in Italy is made up of a set of fixed and mobile signals, whether illuminated or not, tables, signs and all that is necessary to ensure correct and safe circulation of trains on the railway lines. The set of reference standards has undergone updates and even substantial changes over time which have led to the consequent implementation of new or different signals.
