Suitable for Key Stages 3 upwards.

Recycling is always a popular subject and this is a wonderful opportunity to learn how to create innovative wearable designs using plastics, wire, card and fabrics. Adaptable to endless themes such as specific cultures, urban or natural environment, music, carnivals - the day can be individually designed to support your school project work.

Students will learn how to cut, twist, layer, weave, stitch and many more techniques to create colourful jewellery and accessories.

All materials will be provided although students are welcome to bring along bits of wire, thread, old beads etc that they have been collecting.
