Students will learn these important skills:
  • First Aid/CPR Skills
  • Emergency situation education
  • Personal Care Skills, such as diaper changing, bottle and spoon feeding, burping, clothes changing & bathing
  • Games and activities for children of various ages
  • Home Safety measures
In order for a student to successfully complete this course and earn their Babysitter's certificate, participants MUST:
  • Attend and participate in 100% of the course - this includes active, directed contributions throughout the entire session
  • Be able to comprehend and demonstrate the critical Personal Care skills
  • Be able to comprehend and demonstrate the critical First Aid Skills
  • Exhibit the behaviours and maturity level required of a certified Babysitter
