Reel Drama, the hugely popular Actors workshop based in Dublin Ireland, gives you the chance to experience a 2 week intensive workshop this summer in Barcelona. The course will provide you with basic to advanced techniques for on screen acting. We will create a comfortable environment for you to develop and hone your craft with confidence, providing you with a number of dynamic introductions to screen acting, working towards shooting a short film that will be devised and performed by you. This organic process will be produced to the highest possible standard, shot & edited by professionals working within the industry. The Film will be in the style of Magnolia & Crash, connecting the characters and their lives in Barcelona, giving all actors equal screen time and their chance to shine. The perfect addition to an actor’s showreel. Course Includes: Improvisation, Script Analysis, Character and relationship development, Camera techniques, Stanislavski “the Method”, Meisner techniques, Camera techniques, scene improvisation, working with a director & crew. The course is designed and tutored by Actor/Filmmaker and Playwright Karl Argue. When: July 11th - 24th or Sept 12th -25th (Mon – Fri with a weekend film shoot)
