This is an intensive training course, held over four days. It is geared towards practising podiatrists (or existing holistic therapists), as an additional treatment they can provide for their patients/ clients to enhance well- being.
Students can practice reflexology, on each other, and volunteers, under supervision of a Reflexology practitioner and teacher (professional certificate in Education, BSc Honours Complementary Medicine and Health Sciences). Most of the course content includes this practical element.

About this course
Podiatrists, nurses, new or practising holistic therapists
A certificate in Anatomy & Physiology ( level 3), or equivalent, needs to be attained, before awarded with the Reflexology Certificate.
Podiatrists and nurses will not need this (and there may be others, with the equivalent or above, that will not need this). However, you will not need this prior to starting the practical training, as you could complete while you are carrying out case studies , post training.
Certificate in reflexology ( accredited with the Complementary Medical Association)
This is a very practical course, providing participants with the opportunity to learn practical application of reflexology under the guidance of an experienced teacher and therapist.

- The benefits of Reflexology
- The practical application of Reflexology
- The body systems in relation to Reflexology
- Zone Theory
This is a four day intensive course where the focus is on practical application of reflexology. The student will then carry out case studies in their own time.
Once the case studies and a practical assessment (by observation) have been completed the student will be awarded a Certificate in Reflexology, which is accredited by the Complementary Medical Association(CMA). The Therapist can attain membership with the CMA and attain insurance to practice Reflexology professionally.
