WHO IS THE COURSE FOR?This course is designed for those who wish to obtain a recognised professional qualification in Reflexology. Students undertaking this course will achieve the required standards of the industry.
WHAT WILL I LEARN?
Practical foot massage techniques and knowledge of the reflexology chart of the foot will be taught as well as the related theory. Anatomy and physiology is also included covering such topics as the endocrine system, circulatory system, digestive system and the skeletal system, as well as the monitoring of employment standards and support of health, safety and security in the work place. The course will involve 3 hours of college study for 30 weeks. This combined with a considerable amount of home/private study of theory and practical skills will be necessary for successful completion.
HOW WILL I LEARN?
Students will be assessed both practically and orally throughout the course. In addition to this you will need to provide a portfolio containing evidence of work undertaken, in the form of assignments and 30 hrs of case study treatments.
There will be separate theory independent assessment papers and practical assessments, which will ensure that you have the required underpinning knowledge and skills for the industry.
On successful completion of this Reflexology course you will be awarded The International Institute of Health and Holistic Therapies Level 3 Diploma in Reflexology.
