History
I spent my childhood on a traditional/conventional farm in Holland. I went to Agricultural College Warmonderhof in the seventies and after College started farming in Camphill Botton Village. Together with my then to be wife Andie, we spent a year farming in Germany and several years in Holland, after which we spent most of our time up until 1991 farming in Camphill in England. In 1991/92 I followed a Science Course for Upper School teachers. After a year teaching in the Ringwood Upper School, we were asked to develop a school farm, which we managed for over 7 years.Since 2003 we have lived in France where I run a landscape gardening business. In the winter of 2008/2009 I studied a post-graduate course in Goethean Science, Environmental Ethics and Environmental Aesthetics at the University of Lancaster and continued this year with self-studies in the module Phenomenology & Environment.

Description
Spend most of my life farming and had always in interest in Goethean Science and Phenomenology, specifically in relation to Botany and Zoology. Also interested how our consciousness develops over time and that we can also change our point of view. This I mainly became aware of through the study of Owen Barfield. All this came together in my acquaintance with Landscape and I realised we can and need multi-disciplinary approaches, but because of this we need to learn and express ourselves in a common language and avoid professional jargon.
