Studying abroad was a great experience because I have observed students learning in a different environment with different teaching methods. I taught the classroom about the American culture and my own educational experiences. I formed a very closed bond with my 5th grade students and I also loved living with a host family.

I had a wonderful week with Maria Grazia and Franco. I achieved my aim of being able to talk with confidence in Italian. My other aim was to improve my knowledge of grammar and I also achieved it as the contents of the lesson were tailored specially for me.

I spent 2 months at Reggio Lingua and I have to say that I had a great time learning Italian. I highly recommend this school to anyone who wants to learn the beautiful language of Italian without any stress or pressure in a city that has many great restaurants while retaining small town charm.

Giorgia is a superb teacher. She had the ability to make me feel secure so that I had the confidence to engage in conversations at levels and on topics. Giovanna was a really great teacher, her family was wonderful and kind. Giovanna was open to input on what I felt I needed to concentrate on and able to explain points of grammar to me that I felt I hadn't grasped yet in an interesting way.

I attended Reggio Lingua in Reggio Emilia for 2 weeks. I think having different sessions with each instructor gave me more insight to the language. The cooking course was very fun; it was held at a local farm/bed & breakfast. Thank you so much for the memorable experience.
