Remain or Leave is a MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) specially created to help anyone interested in the UK referendum on EU membership make sense of the issues surrounding this crucial vote. This course is free and can be taken by anyone, anywhere, while the materials can all be consulted whenever it is convenient. All you need to do is register! Watch the introductory video (on the right) or click here. The MOOC starts on the 18th May.

The aim of Remain or Leave is to cut through partisan rhetoric and the mass of competing, often contradictory information. What it offers instead is a set of five concise multimedia lectures examining the validity of pro- and anti-EU arguments in an even handed fashion. No prior knowledge of the EU is required and great care has been taken to avoid technical, policy jargon. The instructor, Dr Andrew Glencross, is an expert in European integration who has published widely in this field. It is supported by a grant from the ESRC UK in a Changing Europe Commissioning Fund.
