Course Overview
What does the course involve?:
This qualification provides essential knowledge and understanding to those new to the trade regarding responsibilities of alcohol retailers to sell alcohol.
It covers:
• the nature and effect of alcohol
• the main issues in the Licensing Act 2003
• licensing law in relation to protection of children from harm
• social responsibility relating to retail sale of alcohol
• how to recognise drunkenness and an individual's responsibility not to serve drunk customers
• appropriate strategies that can be adopted to prevent or eliminate crime and conflict.

A multiple choice question paper.
