* Students taking CGS X100 or other approved course will also need to take CGS 2518 at FSU

Admission Requirements to Major Program of Studies
Admission to the limited access business programs requires the following:
1) completion of at least 52 semester hours;
2) a cumulative grade point average on all college work attempted of at least 2.90; and
3) satisfactory completion of all required prerequisite coursework.

Requirements

Major Program of Studies at FSU: (46-49 hours; depending on whether CGS 2518 was taken as a prerequisite or not)
Courses taken at a Community College may not be substituted for 3000/4000 level courses.

Lower-Division Requirements (4 hours)
These courses are Term 5 milestones. Transfer students must complete them in their first term of enrollment at FSU.

General Business Breadth Requirements for Real Estate Majors (9 hours)
Each course selected must be completed with a grade of C minus or better.

Major Area Requirements for Real Estate Majors (15 hours)
Majors must complete the five courses listed below with a grade of C minus or better to satisfy the major area requirements.

REE 4143 (3) Real Estate Market Analysis
REE 4204 (3) Real Estate Finance
REE 4313 (3) Real Estate Investment
REE 4433 (3) Legal Environment of Real Estate

Computer Skills Competency: (0 hours beyond prerequisites) CGS 2100 (3) and/or CGS 2518 (3).
Either may be taken for admission. CGS2518 is a required course for graduation in the Real Estate major.

Oral Communication Competency: (0 hours beyond other requirements)
Students must demonstrate the ability to orally transmit ideas and information clearly. Business majors must take GEB 3213.
