About this course

By the end of the course you should be able to:
understand and interpret key investigations for retinal disease
interpret retinal imaging, including fluorescein angiography and optical coherence tomography (OCT), autofluorescence, Indocyainine green angiography
diagnose common retinal diseases
make clinical decisions and treatment choices based on the evidence provided by clinical trials
apply the knowledge in managing complex clinical scenarios and treatment outcomes

The course will be relevant to anyone involved in eye care, such as:
ophthalmologists
other doctors working with retinal patients
allied medical professionals (nurses, optometrists, technicians)

There are no prerequisites to taking the course, but you should have a basic knowledge of, and interest in, eye disease.

The Royal College of Ophthalmology has approved this course for 16 CPD points.
You'll receive a certificate of completion from UCL/Moorfields Eye Hospital.
