2. Course description The Travel Industry is as diverse as the world it serves and the job opportunities are endless. With this in mind we have put together a course which will give adult learners a detailed knowledge and understanding of many parts of the Travel and Tourism Industry. You will gain a full level 2 qualification which is essential for most travel related jobs. Functional English and / or Functional Maths will be included at an appropriate level.

3. Entry requirements To gain entry to this course you must possess a Level 1 qualification or four or more GCSEs at Grade D or above to include a minimum of a Grade D in English (or an equivalent qualification) or two GCSEs at Grade C or above or other equivalent qualifications acceptable to the College. You must also undertake successful interview and provide a satisfactory reference.

5. Assessment method Internal assessments will be carried out in a variety of ways including assignments role plays and presentations. There will be 8 units throughout the year and within each unit there will be tasks that build up to a final assignment. There will be 2 computer based examinations these will take place in March/April.
