Overview
Autonomous and robotic systems are steadily becoming commonplace in the world around us; from heavy duty industrial robotic arms in production chains, to robot vacuum cleaners, lawn mowers, self-driving cars, drones, and space robotics. There is a strong strategic direction for global industry in Robotics and Automated Systems (RAS) as evidenced by a host of national and international strategy documents and networks.
The aim of our new Robotics, Mechatronics and Control Engineering degree is to provide a solid foundation in robotics, mechatronics and control disciplines with a primary focus on electronic and electrical engineering. Our Robotics, Mechatronics and Control Engineering BEng (Hons) course will enable you to understand the fundamental processes and techniques in autonomous systems.
