This Level 2 Subsidiary Diploma, written by Access to Music and validated by Rock School (http://www.accesstomusic.co.uk/courses/further-education-music-courses ), includes a number of compulsory core units, and specialist units, whilst allowing learners the flexibility to pursue their own choice of four independent pathways – Performance, Technology, Business and Composition. You will be following in the footsteps of former students, including: Ed Sheeran, Jess Glynne and Rita Ora, who all chose to take this vocational route at other UK providers.


You will be able to gain the musical skills and confidence you need, within a supportive, creative environment guided by well-qualified, committed staff with over 20 years professional industry experience who have been approved to deliver the course. Provided at our Nantgarw Campus, learners will utilise a fully equipped, State of the Art, Recording Studio and Mac Lab allowing access to the most up to date facilities and resources. This course is equivalent to four GCSEs.


You will require 4 GCSEs at grades A*- D preferably including Maths or English or a level 1 sector skills course qualification.


You will be invited to attend an audition / interview. You will also be required to undertake an initial assessment in literacy and numeracy to establish any support required.
