About this course

A detailed knowledge of Roadcraft and the Highway Code is essential and a course pre-requisite. An awareness of the instructional techniques in the DSA Driving Instructor Manual would be helpful. An outline knowledge of car mechanics, similar to that gained from an owner's manual, is necessary. A pre-requisite of this course is that delegates have achieved a Gold or Silver Grade in the RoSPA Advanced Driving Test, or a gold level in RoSPA’s Occupational Advanced Driving Test (RoADTest) or an equivalent qualification.

As the fleet driver training industry becomes ever more discerning in its quest for quality instructors, the initial Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) qualification is seen as only the start of the learning process. RoSPA's National Diploma allows instructors to reach their full potential.
