Course programme

Course structure One course per year; 8 weeks duration per course.
What you will learn The course consists of 6 weeks of lectures, presentations, tutorials and practicals. Students are introduced to each subject area and then exercises and worked examples are used to stimulate learning. Groups are encouraged to share experience and contribute to discussions. There is a week of visits covering vehicle impact, hardened structures, barriers and perimeter security. The final week project leads to formal presentations by all students. External lecturers provide additional depth to the teaching.
