History
Since 1986, RTT has been specialising in providing an international client base with technology assessment and technology related seminar programmes. The company's knowledge and experience is principally in mobile terrestrial communications. RTT works closely with members of the Mobile Experts Groups within ETSI (European Telecommunications Standards Institute), and the international academic, scientific and industrial research community.RTT's research focus centres primarily on the issues of 3G design and implementation, appliance design, air interface and network design - areas of particular expertise include RF and IF processing (3G DSP), noise and gain budgets (coding gain, spreading gain, Rake gain), device options (RF, IF and baseband), design analysis, protocols and 3G network performance optimisation.

Over the past two years, RTT's research has extended to include the impact of technology convergence across six industries - computers, consumer electronics, IT, wireless, wireline, TV.Since 1991, RTT has been working with The Shosteck Group (formerly Herschel Shosteck Associates Limited), Washington DC to combine RTT's technology assessment information base with The Shosteck Group's market assessment data base and market analysis methodology. The Shosteck Group is one of the most well known and most respected international wireless consultancies.On recent projects we have also collaborated with The Mobile World, a company with one of the most detailed and accurate cellular subscriber data bases presently available.
