he Yorkshire Body Piercing Academy provides one of the best Body Piercing courses in the UK, each student will receive one-to-one instruction, tailored to the individual student. Professional working studios, separate sterilisation room equipped with the latest hospital standard vacuum autoclave & ultrasonic machines, conforming to the medical devices directive and EN13060 legislation, the highest standard for 100% safety. The courses will cover in depth: the understanding of airborne pathogens and blood pathogens, modes of transmission, universal precautions, hepatitis B vaccinations, Environmental Health legislations, sterilisation techniques and equipment, good practice, risk assessment, safety data sheet breakdown, different areas to pierce (practical and theory), aftercare, the importance of aftercare.
