About this course
This course will make you ready to take the face to face RYA Short Range Certificate final exam.
At the end of this course, you will understand the Marine VHF Radio protocols and procedures.
The final SRC Licence will cover you to operate a Marine VHF in sea area A1, 40 Nautical miles offshore on a lesuire craft.
This Online course is ideal for anyone who intends to use a Marine VHF Radio in inshore coastal waters.
The course is ideal for Sea kayakers, Powerboaters, Sailors and charter skippers etc.
You must be over 16 years old to take the final SRC exam.
You will require a good Internet connection or Mobile internet 3G or 4G
The training is available in two formats. The web-based training is designed to work across the devices and operating systems shown below. It is optimized for the latest technology, fully responsive, suitable for high definition screens and provides an improved user experience.
PC running Windows 10 minimum with the latest version of Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome or Firefox.
The course will work on MACs and iPad and Android Tablets.
