SAFE USE OF PESTICIDES

• Have an understanding of statutory duties under H.S.W.A. and other legal responsibilities for safe working with pesticides
• Use pesticides appropriately and safely
• Keep records, understand the requirements and how to store pesticides
• Clean equipment and dispose of unwanted pesticides
• Deal with potential poisoning incidents and contamination.

All personnel involved in the storage, handling and application of pesticides.

Highly participative with practical demonstrations highlighted by use of OHP & Videos along with individual exercises.

1-5 days depending on experience and level required.

This course is LANTRA approved and leads to a test set by NPTC (National Proficiency Tests Council).
