The Safeguarding Adults Level 1 course is an in-depth training program designed to train those who work with adults or are aspiring to work with adults in a social care and health care setting. It explores the legal framework for safeguarding adults, the different types of abuse and offers step-by-step guidance on how to identify and report cases of abuse.
You will learn what is meant by the term “vulnerable adult” and will explore the groups of adults that may be at risk. Gain a solid understanding of your legal requirements when working with adults & the legal framework for safeguarding
Learn the definition of a vulnerable adult and the key principles of safeguarding
Explore the different types of physical, emotional and psychological abuse
