A career in Beauty, Nails, Holistic therapy or Hairdressing is an excellent opportunity for people of all ages to start their own business or to gain employment in this exceptionally expanding industry.No formal qualifications are required to enrol on to the courses just the ability to perform practical skills on clients and good communications skills are all that is needed to become a successful therapist.The courses are focused on both theory and practical work. A great deal of emphasis is placed on practical work where students train on each other or on models.There are 3 options of qualifications available in a wide range of subjects NVQ's, VTCT, ITEC or fast track insurable courses awarded with a diploma which is recognised and approved by BABTAC (British Association of Beauty, And Cosmetology), the Guilds of Professional Beauty. This will successfully allow learners to obtain the insurance and trade self-employed or find a job as a therapist within a salon or spa.
