By being at the cutting edge of areas such as image processing, networks and artificial intelligence, alongside research on how media is created and consumed, we aim to play a key role in shaping and defining the digital future from a social, personal and technological perspective.

Description

The School has a track record of developing innovative new interdisciplinary courses and being at the forefront of research across a range of areas. We were one of the first universities in the country to offer computer science degrees, broke new ground by creating a digital media programme with the National Media Museum and are part of the world’s first Media Academy Network devised by Skillset.
