Based in Camden, the creative heart of the city, SSR will be providing highly professional services for commercial and training purposes in our state of the art facilities.
Alongside our commercial wing, SSR will be delivering a range of courses from weekend training packages to full and part time courses in audio engineering, music production, film and post production.
Established in 1980, SSR began as Spirit Studios working with legendary Manchester bands such as The Stone Roses and The Smiths. In 1984 Spirit opened its training wing to become the UK’s first audio engineering school, known as SSR, the School of Sound Recording.
Today SSR works with over 100 industry partners, and is one of the UK’s most highly connected training organisations. An internationally respected training centre, we were the first AVID Pro School in Europe and we remain one of the largest. We are an Apple Authorised Training Centre for Education, a BBC Preferred Training Provider and recently named a North West Business of the Year in recognition of our excellence and innovation.
