Course programme

This course will give you a basic grounding in making silkscreen prints You will make a series of prints from simple paper stencils and then develop photographic stencils.

The course will cover:

• Organising your work bench
• Creating paper stencils
• Print edition & papers
• Mixing inks, registration and printing
• Prepare an image in Photoshop for silkscreen
• Apply and expose photographic emulsion
• Cleaning and care of screens
• Safe printing - Health and Safety advice
