Who Is This Course For?
This week is an ideal opportunity to experience some of the classic sea kayaking locations on the west coast of Scotland. It also provides the opportunity to attend one of the greatest Sea Kayaking Sympoiums in Skye (please note - this needs to be boooked seperately and is not included in the course fee)

Skills Covered
The focus of this week is to apply skills learnt in a more challenging environment. Staff will also bring course participants into the planning process, looking at the current weather, equipment required….

A variety of skills will be covered over the period, including:

- Packing a boat for overnights

- Learning to get the most out of the boat

- Develop navigation and seamanship skills

- Develop skills necessary to be an effective member of a group,,

- Equipment appropriate to this environment

All of these areas will be covered in a practical way during the course and reinforced on the evening sessions, giving you the opportunity to learn from the staff and other course participants alike.
