History

Peter began working professionally with young people at the age of 19. Over the last 10 years, he has been inspiring young people to fulfill their potential in various capacities - through media arts team Exalt, the YMCA, youth organisations and many schools and colleges throughout the UK. From his time as a youth worker in a Dundee based drop-in centre to a Connexions Personal Advisor, Peter has helped vulnerable or disenfranchised young people raise their aspirations, prepare themselves for further education or take their first steps into the working world.
Peter is continually developing his skills and has recently become a MHFA - Mental Health First Aid - Trainer. MHFA is a response to the widespread ignorance and lack of confidence in what to do if someone is distressed or in crisis, with an aim to improve mental health literacy throughout our communities.
