This 3 day instructor lead course is designed to give attendees the detailed knowledge needed to sequence applications for use in a Microsoft Application Virtualization Environment 5.0, using SP2 Rollup 4, and to troubleshoot problems. Both SP2 and Rollup 4 add a number of new features that will be discussed in this course.

This module describes the key concepts behind Application Sequencing in a Microsoft Application Virtualization environment. The student will learn the key components of a package, what applications can and cannot be sequenced and how packages are delivered to the client. We also take a look at how the App-V client software interacts with the package and how to control it using PowerShell. The module finishes by building a sequencing workstation.
Creating an Application Virtualization Package.This module starts by discussing the sequencer options and how they influence the package being built. We then go through the detailed steps of creating a package, the importance of create a template file and finally we examine all of the package editing options.
Advanced Sequencing Techniques.This module examines some advanced sequencing options
Diagnosing and troubleshooting Techniques WorkshopThis last module is delivered in the style of a workshop. We will discover techniques to view the world as the 'bubble' sees it and explore tools that can be used to help identify the causes of programs to fail. The lab time will give the students the opportunity to uses these tools against some troublesome applications.
