This course was developed to train modern apprentices within the HVAC (Heating Ventilating Air Conditioning)Service and Maintenance industry.
This is an advanced level 3 course based on the Rectification & Modification of systems and takes up the final 2 years of the 4 year apprenticeship.
The student shall be conversant with a diverse range of systems including boilers, fuels, pumps, heat emmiters, heat exchangers, ventilation systems, air handling, chilled water systems, hot and cold systems, steam systems, LTHW, MTHW and HTHW.
Training is accomplished via classroom lectures, practical exercises within the departments dedicated workshops, from site evidence and where possible, visits to operational facilities.

This Level 3 course offers the optional 'bolt on' options of ACS Gas training and assessment, Unvented Hot water training and assessment, New Water regulation training and assessment and refrigerant handling training and assessment.
