About this course

I require all of my new students to attend two consecutive days of two x 3 hour classes, plus 1 x private one hour class.

This class is an introduction to sewing skills needed to gain confidence and sewing knowlegde in order to proceed into one of my regular classes.

All Start Sewing day classes must be paid in full in advance and booked for 2 consecutive weeks to maintain continuity.

Sewing Teacher

I started my sewing career at London fashion school then working in London as a sample machinist at a fashion house. I owned a factory in Hertfordshire supplying adult designer clothing to exclusive boutiques. I moved into childrenswear, which earned me a slot on the TV programme "This Morning" with Richard Madely and Judy Finnegan. "The Rag-Bag Clothing Company". I have taught at adult education centres and organised fashion shows to showcase my own and other designers work.

Course programme

All classes and workshops are for beginners to sewing. Classes and workshops are offered throughout the year and are not termly based.

Available dates for my classes and workshops will be updated when they become available. Evening classes are very popular and are taken very quickly.

I have a wide knowledge of sewing covering many aspects including soft furnishings, toys, hats, bags etc and I encourage students to make a wide variety of projects.
