Having travelled the globe educating for Vidal Sassoon and a host of other leading industry names, Sid opened the doors of the Sid Sottung Academy in February 2014. Our barbering courses can be delivered at our academy or at barber shops and salons worldwide.

After receiving his training from our very own academy director, Josh would go on to further refine and hone his skills in salons and barbershops around Nottingham. Drawing inspiration from a eclectic range of sources, Josh has developed his own unique style of barbering, blurring the lines between traditional barbering and contemporary men’s hairdressing. Josh’s career has now come a full circle, once entering as a student and now returning as an educator.

Sid Sottung is a world recognised professional with 25 years experience in the industry. After a decade of cutting his teeth in some of the most exclusive salons across the globe, Sid turned his full attention to inspiring and teaching the next generation of barbers & hairdressers. Whether it’s on stage teaching for industry leading companies or providing bespoke in house training in prestigious international salons, Sid strives to push the boundaries of hairdressing and barbering education.
