Course programme
This class covers the classroom portion and some practical evaluation. Each successful student will receive a temporary Trainee Certificate and a form to be completed by his or her supervisor (who is competent in operating the equipment) to verify the trainee has completed the required number of hours operating the equipment under supervision. The official permit will be issued once the form is returned by the employer. Participants are required to bring their own PPE including a hard hat, steel-toed boots, fire resistant coveralls, work gloves, protective eyewear and hearing protection for the practical components of this course. Note: This course can be customized for fork lift, genie lift, scissor-lift and other aerial man lifts, zoomboom, bobcat, commercial lawn mowers, zamboni, skid steer, tele-handlers, small utility vehicles, etc. Custom clients may be required to provide their own PME equipment for the course so that your employees get the benefit of receiving training on the exact equipment they will use on the job. Provide us with the year, make and model of this equipment to receive a fully customized course. This course is one of the Safety Training courses offered at Great Plains College.
