The Skipper plays a key role in the success of the sailing holiday, as captain of the boat and coordinator of the group of guests who are on board. On the day of embarkation, the Captain will take care of the Check-In, i.e. the operations of taking over, technical verification and inspection of the boat. All the Skippers of the BeBlue network follow theoretical and practical training courses, participate in preventive inspections of our itineraries and are constantly trained to work as a team to ensure fluidity and speed in mooring operations. From the moment of embarkation, the Skipper will assume responsibility for the boat and its safety as Commander of Recreational Units but will also be available to involve guests in the maneuvers and to teach theory and practice of sailing during the cruise to those who wished it. Regardless of the technical skills, taken for granted by the Skippers selected by BeBlue, each Commandate is trained for the management of the group and the social relationship so as to fulfill the role of aggregating and mediating figure of the group of guests.
