Aims

  • To develop or re-iterate the correct, recommended operating practices for using lifting equipment; to the standards endorsed by the various training bodies.
  • To remind the user of the risks associated with general handling, use, inspection and storage of this type of equipment.
  • To inform and educate through classroom lectures, video presentations and group exercises the associated theoretical knowledge.
  • Practical sessions will be by Instructor demonstration and delegate repeats, using simple staged sessions.

All delegates will be required to successfully complete both a theoretical knowledge test and practical skills assessment. The standards for these being set by the appropriate accrediting training body.
