Complete one of the following, either a. or b. (3 credits):

Topics in Sociological Methodology
Students must select one of the courses that was not used to fulfill the requirements for the Master of Arts Degree in Sociology.
Two additional courses selected from the department's major research theme areas of concentration that were not used to satisfy the requirements for the Master of Arts Degree in Sociology. The courses must be approved by the student's guidance committee.
Complete 24 credits of Sociology 999 Doctoral Dissertation Research.
Successful completion of the comprehensive examination.
Successful defense of the dissertation.
