Want to minor in sociology? At Suffolk University, you have three options.
Along with our general sociology minor, we offer academic minors in crime & justice and health & society. Whichever one you choose, you'll take a blend of required courses and electives that will give you a holistic view of this vital field.
A Sociology Minor will support you in understanding how social groups and institutions influence each other over time in rapidly changing societies. A sociological perspective takes into account the influences of different intersections, such as class, ethnicity, gender, and geographic locations. With this minor, you will be better equipped to critically analyze the world around you. Your studies will ultimately prepare you to be a catalyst for positive change in today's workplace.
