Suitable for: The course is aimed at electrical personnel who wish to design, install, inspect & test, commission and maintain Solar PV systems. This course provides one of the qualifications needed to join the micro-generation certification (mcs) scheme.

Persons attending the course MUST have at least one of the following qualifications:- – C&G 2382 17th Edition and C&G 2391 Inspection and testing and/or – Part P Registration (Competent Persons Scheme)

Course programme
The course is aimed at electrical personnel who wish to design, install, inspect & test, commission and maintain Solar PV systems. This course provides one of the qualifications needed to join the micro-generation certification (mcs) scheme. In order to qualify for the Feed-in Tariffs, installation work must be undertaken by mcs accredited installers using mcs accredited products.

Update has a comfortable and well-equipped training centre in Folkestone . Road and Rail links are excellent and travelling times to this area are generally low, e.g. 20 mins from Ashford.
