On completion of the course the delegate should be able to administer a Solaris system using both shell command line utilities and the Solaris Management Console (SMC) GUI interface.  Topics covered apply to recent versions of Solaris up to and including version 10.  The delegate will gain the key skills required to prepare for the Sun Certified System Administrator Part I exam. Suitable for: System Administrators and anyone who requires a full working knowledge of how to administer a Solaris system.  This course prepares delegates for the Sun Certified System Administrator Part I exam.

Attendance on the Solaris Introduction course or similar knowledge is required.  Shell Programming is beneficial, but not essential.  This skill can be gained by attending the Solaris Shell Programming course.
